A massive permanent public art installation measuring 42 feet wide by 23 feet tall, set to live for a decade in Dumbo, Brooklyn — joining the must-see collection of public art throughout the neighborhood.
The inspiration for this mural comes from Water Game, a toy crafted by Japanese toy-maker in the 1970s. For over 50 years, it has captivated children around the world, from Japan to the US. There’s something timeless about it — a pure kind of joy that transcends generations and borders.
Born from a fusion of influences — the quiet beauty of Japanese culture and the wild, electric energy of New York — this piece unites two sides of the same coin: stillness and motion, nostalgia and the present.
Location: 108 Adams Street, Dumbo, Brooklyn — right by the Brooklyn Bridge pedestrian entrance.
